About The Founder
Nidhi began her business career when other children were enjoying life. She began working for the renowned Indian multinational pharmaceutical company as a sales representative and advanced within 15 years to the position of Zonal Manager. Her early days were spent juggling her Master’s degree with her rigorous job, but soon she became exposed to several areas like HR, training, strategy development, sales, and marketing, resulting to a rich experience. Even national strategies have included some of her patterns. The necessity to develop an after-school programme to keep her kid engaged in productive activities eventually became apparent to her. She was also faced with difficult parenting choices, such as deciding between a demanding corporate position and spending more time with her child. When she eventually opened KidsGro, an early education centre while expecting her second kid, everything seemed to fall into place. She received invaluable knowledge about early childhood development and instructional methodology from the preschool.
Undoubtedly, we can all agree that 2020 was difficult for everyone. When her playschool got closed temporarily due to the pandemic, Nidhi broadened her horizons, partnered with different professionals, and began to offer her services online, this time reaching out to adults in addition to children. As someone once said very eloquently, “Never let a crisis go to waste,” Nidhi did not let this opportunity pass her by.
Now, there was no turning back. The seed of an idea has grown into a reality with close to 25 teachers working alongside her to serve children in India, the USA, Australia, New Zealand, Switzerland, Canada, the UK, and the United Arab Emirates. This number keeps rising, and that is how Pratibhalaya came to be.
The brilliantly glowing corporate career gave way to a successful, constantly striving mommy entrepreneur, a mompreneur, and Pratibhalaya was born. It is no accident that Nidhi’s “beautiful at heart” mother, Pratibha, whose name aptly denotes talent, served as the inspiration for Pratibhalaya.
